Hotel Description
The Elephant House is an exclusive 8 bedroomed lodge situated near the main entrance to the Addo Elephant National Park in the fertile sun-drenched Sundays River Valley.The wide verandas (filled with comfortable sofas) forming a series of courtyards are a defining feature, whilst the décor of Elephant House evokes Colonial and African images and is furnished with the owners private collection of antiques, Persian rugs and Africana art. The spacious bedrooms open onto courtyards and private verandas.
Children are most welcome and excellent babysitters are available on request. The children also have use of the "Club Room" which has a selection of games and a DVD library.
Apart from game drives into Addo there is also a varied list of other activities available including elephant back safaris, canoeing trips, and cultural tours

Offering daily game drives into Addo Elephant National Park, 8 km away, this Colonial-style house has 2 outdoor pools. With Wi-Fi, its stylish rooms are in thatched cottages in the garden.
Opening onto a private veranda or courtyard, each individually decorated room at Elephant House features a wooden ceiling. All are air conditioned and include a seating area with Persian rug.
Breakfast is served daily and light lunches can be taken on the terraces or by a pool. In the evening, 3-course candlelit dinners are accompanied by Cape wines. 24-hour room service is available.
