Hotel Description
Four stylish rooms offer comfort and privacy for guests who appreciate tasteful furnishings and modern conveniences. All have been individually decorated in styles influenced by flowers from our pretty garden. All the rooms have a full en-suite bathroom with shower and/or bath, free internet Wifi, tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms have a wardrobe and a luggage rack. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.Breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast area. We offer you cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt and a variety of eggs. There is a non smoking policy in our guesthouse.
Both born and raised in the Netherlands with a passion for travel and Africa we always talked and dreamed about moving abroad. Around 2008 we started to imagine the living of our African Dream. After lots of travelling in mainly African countries we fell in love with South Africa. In this beautiful country with breathtaking nature and friendly people we feel at home!
Years of dreaming are now becoming a reality. Time to move and build a different quality of life, time to live our African Dream!
In the Dutch spring of 2015, our 14th visit to South Africa, we found our dream place. The African Tulip was born!
The last months in 2015 we worked hard to finish all we needed to do in the Netherlands. In September 2015 we moved to Tulbagh. Our African Tulip Guesthouse has opened it’s doors since the 2nd of january 2016!
