Chobe River Camp is a wildlife and birder’s dream and is the ideal place to break away, just across the river from the world renowned Chobe Nature Reserve, home to one of the largest concentrations of elephant on the African continent.The lodge offers 20 tented chalets constructed from a canvas/mopanie timber combination. Each unit affords magnificent views across spectacular Chobe River scenery from private decks. Every chalet is solar powered with en-suite bathrooms and shower/flush toilets and mosquito nets fitted over comfortable beds as standard. An additional bonus is the location, situated right on the river front. There is no air-conditioning and no plugs, guests may charge their technical appliances in the main building. Guests can also enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar, the swimming pool, and Wi-Fi at the main building.
Expect a unique and wondrous experience when visiting the Camp. This region is Namibia’s very own version of the Serengeti and offers a rare experience. With a bit of luck you can see large herds of elephants, buffalo and antelope. Activities may be seasonal, but will always amaze and intrigue our guests.
