Hotel Description
Galene, our beach house is situated right on the beach and has a 180 degree, uninterrupted view of the ocean.The house has 6 bedrooms, four bathrooms, two lounges and an open plan dining area as well as a covered verandah from which you can enjoy magnificent sea views and the sound of the ocean. There is a dip swimming pool on the deck with optional pool net if there are small children around. The house is serviced daily excepting Sundays and Christmas Day.
The beach is protected by a reef ensuring safe bathing and there are lovely rock pools. Its an ideal spot for fishing and there are mussels and oysters on the rocks as well as crayfish if you have the gear and licenses.
Galene is at Sea Park which is 8km before Port Shepstone and an hours drive from Durban. There are many restaurants in the area and the farm stall is within walking distance.
