We have 5 Chalets available, sleeping from 3-9. The old military buildings at the foot of the Hangklip mountain have seen many incarnations since they were turned into a hotel after WW2 – it has had its heydays and its strange days but there is no denying the part it played in many people’s lives in some way or another.
After the war, the site under the rock became the quintessential beach hotel with wild stories of dancing and merriment. In the sixties the hotel was a haven for fisherman and divers. Students flocked to the hotel during weekends and holidays to enjoy the quirkiness and freedom the hotel offered.
