Amberley Lodge is a self catering lodge situated on the beautiful Amberley Mountain Reserve, a 904ha private game and trout estate that is accessed via private farmland. The lodge is located on a magnificent site overlooking the Steenkampsberg and Kruisfontein Valley complete with distant mountains, nature reserve and farmland. One can even see the Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate below in the distance.
Once the private farm of a Johannesburg businessman who wanted a country getaway. The house was built for his wife who chose the spot she loved the most for the site. This was no mean feat, as Eskom power was brought across from afar and the 904ha farm was then game fenced and building teams still had to come up the dirt farm road with supplies.
