Guests are also welcome to take part in a 30 minute tour of the macadamia plantation on the property at a minimal surcharge.Accommodation is in the form of 21 luxury tents, accommodating up to 42 guests. All tents feature an en-suite bathroom, electric blankets, tea / coffee making facility, mini-safe, air cons and covered patio overlooking the Sabie River.
Central guest facilities include a reception, dining area, lounge & bar, and open air BOMA on the banks of the Sabie River.

Explorers – Lions Rock Rapids is situated on the banks of the iconic Sabie River, a brief 10 minute drive from the nearby town of Hazyview in Mpumalanga – approximate 4,5hrs drive from Johannesburg. The camp offers guests a central base from which to explore this beautiful destination at leisure. Whilst spending time at the camp, guests are encouraged to enjoy the prolific birdlife where guests are welcome to partake in a brief hike on the grounds, or simply sit with a chilled chardonnay on the banks of the Sabie River, taking in all that nature has to offer.
